: The study of the creative creation of any work of art is connected with a deeper understanding and conscious interpretation of it. Discovering answers that clarify the questions of when, where, why and how are an important stage in learning about the authentic essence of the work. By exploring the historical details of the creative process delves into the deeper layers of the intimate psychological world of the creator. This development synthesizes the historically existing information about the process of creation of the vocal cycle “Songs and Dances of Death” by M. Mussorgsky, one of the emblematic works built on the medieval stylistics of “Danse macabre”.
