EXTRACURRICULAR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN BULGARIA, EUROPE AND THE WORLD

Abstract: The article provides an overview of extracurricular physical activity worldwide. Special and extensive attention is paid to it’s organization in Europe and in particular in the Republic of Bulgaria, as part of the European educational area. The reasons for the current state and the efficiency of the modern forms of extracurricular activity in our country are considered in detail. At the end, the author’s ideas for its improvement are presented in order to provoke motivation and involve adolescents in sports-oriented activities.
